At around $45 this is probably a steal. And frankly more suitable for business than for home use. I say it's because it comes ready to assemble, not to impress. There for the season and then packed. I have carpet (as most houses probably do) and a flimsy X-TYPE backing is not a good idea. Add rubber feet to that and it's a disaster looking for a chance. I was hoping this would work with my base that other trees work with, but no. This is a smaller pole. Fluffy tree? Yes, I know - you have to fluff it up. Some of us are not professional pushers and will not get the results shown. I can tell the "tops" of the trees were MUCH "thinner" than some of the trees I've had, so I know they didn't lint well. I've had trees from Walmart, unbranded, and by far the best - Target. (FYI: My LAST goal tree is 7 feet tall, was first purchased/used in 2007, last Christmas was 2019. I paid $100 plus tax). This tree is even thinner than the trees at Walmart. Package? Good thing the decoration didn't break on arrival. However, there was NOTHING to protect the "Ball" jewelry other than a THIN plastic box. Also, there are NO arrows on the outside showing which way UP is to prevent the tree from breaking the decorations. Smaller wooden ornaments (bell, snowflake, etc.) are better for a 2-4 foot, 4 foot tall tree. MOST I would consider. Large wooden ornaments (cups) could fit on a 6-7 foot tall tree. Minor ball ornaments - 4 feet of wood. I have had trees of all sizes over the last 15 years - tabletop, 2ft, 4ft, 6ft and 7ft. I also had jewelry of all sizes, from tiny to "regular". The "see-through" filled decorations are a decent size, fitting a 4 to 7 foot tall tree. I will definitely use them for my main tree. To be honest it's not something I would get again. I have no regrets as I love decorations and can use them with other trees (even use some for paintings and other decorative items). Only they "CAN" cost $45. As always, you get what you pay for.
