Works but needs a battery
Looks the same as the old one that died. I tried connecting it to a ceiling opener but that didn't work. I took it apart to try the new battery and found that instead of the 3V CR2032 batteries, there were two stacked CR2016 batteries. I replaced them with new CR2032 and they connected and worked fine. Two CR2016 batteries stacked on top of each other will fit in a CR2032 holder, but will provide 6V instead of 3V. I don't know if the voltage difference (and actually the smaller wattage difference) was the reason it didn't work, or the batteries are just empty.
