I looked at many models and brands, I was interested in computerized samples. I settled on Janome, since my old simple Janome machine has served me faithfully for 14 years now, and, made in Japan, it worked there for probably a long time. Good quality, heavy metal. Understandable in management. This is Janome. With its pros: Outstanding design. Much more attractive in life than in the photo and even video. Pleasant to the touch and perfectly smooth metal frame! Heavy and very quiet in operation. Management is clear and easy. I liked that there are familiar rotary knobs for stitch length and width, for me they make the choice of options more convenient and simple. Excellent loops! And all kinds. Ideal. The decorative stitching is amazing. The letters of the alphabet, too, are even and well readable. The simplest zig-zag for overedging works great, without pulling or stretching the fabric at all. But, one of its greatest advantages (I haven’t figured out all of them yet) is sewing with a professional foot and a professional plate. The machine performs a straight line along the shared thread just perfectly! The finished seam on the fabric does not pull or wrinkle. Different cons: There is no arm platform, although the description on the site indicated that there is. At first I was very upset. But the advantages of this machine make you forget about it.
