I have been wanting a vest like this for awhile. I have done two long runs (10miles each), two medium runs (7 & 5 miles), and a Half Marathon (13.1miles) with it since it came in the mail. This vest gives me hands free but I can still carry- 2 Cliff Energy Blok packs (on the top left zip pouch), salt (small top right pocket), phone (bottom left pouch), extra squeeze water bottle for Gatorade between the Cliff Bloks (bottom right pouch), key (bottom left deep zipper). plus the backpack has a hydration bladder with tube which feeds through the top and over shoulder. I also mix Nuun salt tabs with the water I add to the hydration pack (premix separately bc of pressure). The reflectors on top shoulders are a loop which you can feed tube through to lay flat if you like (I don't but have considered). The hook on the top front clasp across chest is for keeping the tube from moving around during your run.The tightness of the top clasp does seem to come loose while running with the tube attached. I tie the excess of the strap around itself to keep it from loosening. The top strap is stretchey, while bottom and side straps are not.I also love that the angled mouth piece on the tube turns so whichever way the tube lays down across your body, there is always the option to rotate the mouth piece so it isn't pointing straight down but rather angled up.The side straps are nice but since I am small in size, they don't seem to tighten as much as I would like (I like a snug fit). They are good enough but I would like maybe another inch. Still, not a huge deal. The downfall of only having one side strap, as opposed to two (like name brand vests), is the fit might be tighter with two individual (top and bottom) side straps. One small issue that I am having to get use to (bc really I just love this vest) is that it tends to need another strap somewhere (maybe low under the armpit) to keep from being loose around the collar bone area. I find myself grabbing the bottom and pulling down at times. This would not keep me from buying again though. The hydration bladder is a little difficult to fill only bc the opening is hard to keep open and the plastic needs to be squeezed to stay open. I am afraid I will break it. The way I keep the hydration bladder from getting moldy is to empty after use and then freeze all parts until next use. The tube separates from the pack and the one thing I noticed during two of my first three runs was after filling and hooking up, once driving to path, the tube was not fully clicked into hydration pack. It may have been from travel or just me?The main issue I have with the pack is needing to "prime" the tube before starting my run. I hold the pack higher than the mouthpiece of the tube and squeeze the mouthpiece to let excess air flow out. As long as the tube stays pointing down, the tube stays free of air. This has helped for when I first need my water while running, I do not have to worry about sucking out all of the air first (and trying to run). The reason for purchase of the vest was for convenience of being hands free, as well as hydrating during long distance runs. I was tired of carrying my water bottle, phone (for music & tracker), and fuel during longer runs. I just started practicing a training schedule (and fueling) for my FIRST full marathon training next year.I LOVE the vest!
