I bought this toilet brush because I really like the look of it. After we remodeled the bathroom, I wanted something a little more unusual. There was no place to hide the toilet brush so I needed something more attractive. After about a year or two, the canister started to rust. At first the rust was just below. This was a problem because the rust got to the bottom. I put everything on cheap cookware I bought at a flea market. I didn't want to throw the whole canister in the landfill as it still worked just fine. A few months later, the outside of the canister also began to rust. Too bad, because the brush part held up perfectly. I wouldn't buy this again.
