I bought it in turquoise. I have a queen bed, but after reading the measurements I thought it would be ok because while it doesn't hang over the sides of the mattress like most beds, it will cover the sleeping area of the mattress. And so it is, as I hope you can see in my drawing, the wiring ends about a foot from the sides. So far away that the heat is not transported. Compare in the next image how much closer the top/bottom channeling is. For a double bed, that might not be a big deal. But even if I had a queen, I would expect the heating elements to be closer to the sides than they really are. I have another electric blanket that I bought from Revain and its wiring is not limited to ducts and that is probably why the heat is distributed more widely across the blanket. This size on my mattress leaves cold spots on the sides, although the wires run far enough up and down where heat is drawn to those edges. However, I would recommend it for a suitably sized mattress.
