Review on 1/2 CuFt High Quality Cation Water Softener Resin Replacement With 100% Ion Exchange by Mark Cai

I bought this to make homemade chemipure along with some highly quality carbon and powdered GFO. This works well. My water doesn't need to be softened a tremendous amount, so I put about a gram per gallon being treated when I'm making up a fresh chemipure bag. Works great. I do dispose of it with the carbon, but this one bag will probably last me well over a decade with 5 tanks and over 300 gallons of water running. I placed it all in quart containers and I have like 7 or 8 of them. I haven't gotten through half of one yet and I've done several rounds on each tank. If this is your purpose, this product does what you want it to and is fish, plant and invertebrate safe.
