Be very careful with your connections

I bought the device for my wife's birthday (she was complaining about our previous instant death). I chose this option because of the price, features, and ease of installation. Pros: Installing the faucet was almost entirely easy. (The only issue I had with installing it was how close it was to my backslash, so it was hard to find and turn the hex key to keep it in the base). I like the digital temperature setting. Much better than turning a dial and guessing the temperature. A lock on the hot lever is a must as I bathe my baby in our sink and I don't want him just pulling the lever and getting burned. Cons: Instructions for vacuuming. 2 metal clamps were attached to the mixer. The tank came with two plastic clamps (different sizes). The instructions tell you where to put one clamp, but it doesn't say what size or what the other is for. I still don't know where to put the second one. After installing and testing the unit for 5 minutes I had no problems so I put everything back under the sink and closed the whole thing. later that night my wife yells at me about water gushing out from under the sink. I grabbed some towels and sat under the sink for a good 10 minutes, wiping off the water and checking all the connections I could see (and using my phone's camera to check the ones I couldn't). I could NOT determine where the leak was coming from. The only thing that struck me when I clicked on all the quick disconnects to test them is that the one that connects to the small tube at the top of the tank might work a lot more than it was previously attached. I left it to dry and sat back under the sink the next day and my wife turned on the hot water to see if I could find out where it came from. Nothing. Worked great. My only guess is that the small push-in fitting on the small metal tube wasn't tight enough (at first I was afraid to push too hard as the tube will retract when pushed into the metal case). I hope that's all and I don't have another waterfall under my sink later.
