Review on 🔌 Cole Hersee - 24059-08-BP (24059-BP) 12V Insulated Single Pole Single Throw Continuous Duty Solenoid by Jeff Kersey

I bought 2 of these solenoids. They appear identical to my original and work well. A small note: the end nuts are plated steel. In a marine environment they rust after a year or so and the clamps don't conduct electricity well which is why my old ones stopped working. For less than a dollar more they could supply brass nuts, or even better, copper nuts. You can get #10 brass nuts at Home Depot for less than a dollar, but 5/16-inch nuts have fine UNF threads, about $10 a dozen. I made mine by threading a 5/16" faucet through coarse thread brass. Brass Nuts UNC. It's not the best solution but they tighten well. Otherwise I'm happy with this purchase and will be using them again buy from this seller who was fast and reliable.
