This sewing machine light strip is crucial for seeing my free motion quilting. I have two lightbulbs and a skylight on my sewing machine in addition to the LED lights, but I still couldn't see the fine detail in the quilting. This light bar is long enough to run the full length of my machine down the side, and a couple of bulbs run under the arm to illuminate the needle area. The adhesive is strong and sticks well to the car. You can even dim the lights if you want. My only regret is that I didn't get it a long time ago.
