Review on Nite Ize Stainless Carabiner Separately by Jason Carranza

Revainrating 5 out of 5

S boxes with a lock are ideal for keys! And it's a cheap way to get them!

Mini S Biners are pretty cool right? I used to use them for little things. I even tried using S-Biners to hold the keys (after all, Nite Ize sells a stainless steel key holder that uses S-Biners) but they kept randomly opening at inconvenient times. I decided to abandon this idea before I lost an important key. Obviously I'm not the only one who has had this experience and now Nite Ize offers this *lockable* S-Biner key rack to solve this problem. Rather than relying on a standard spring-loaded locking mechanism, this upgraded version features plastic locks that keep the S-Biners (and the keys they contain!) secure. Turn the plastic fastener clockwise until it clicks into place and the wire fasteners are secure and secure. Turn the lock anti-clockwise and the gate is only protected by springs, like a regular old S-Biner. Now I would find it a bit silly to use one key per S-biner as shown in the image above. You can place half a dozen buttons on one side of the S-Biner. If you don't want to regularly remove individual keys from the chain, you can do like I did: think of a few "groups" of keys/trinkets to put on S-Biners so you don't use so many little people. Oh hello! I'll tell you a secret too. While you don't want to use the large "rack" carabiner that is part of this set to attach your keys to a belt loop or belt, know that you get *six* mini carabiners with a small Set lock included. this package. They are identical to the S-Biners you can get in the Nite Ize LSBM-01-2R3 S-Biner Micro Lock, Black, 2-Pack, but the cost of the S-Biners is less if you buy them that way. What are you waiting for? Get some S-Biner Blockers. They're cool and unlike regular S-Biners, they don't leave your keys behind.
