Works like a champ good for me
Once you scrape the paint off, it throws a nice shower of sparks. Length is about right. Unlike other reviewers, I have no issues with the striker. I think that’s because at some point they upgraded it to the "Striker-Pro” and it works great - sparks virtually every time from a variety of angles. My only wish is that it came with a sheath/sleeve of some type to protect the rod while jostling around in my backpack. Ended up buying a pen sleeve for it.
- Not a life-saving event - but had to use it to hold some pants up once... 100% would buy again.
- The rod may be difficult to grip for users with limited hand mobility
