The pillows come vacuum sealed so do not be discouraged when you open the box. As instructed, open the packaging. Remove the pillow. Do an initial fluff but put it in the dryer for 15-20 minutes. The pillow stuffing will fluff and you'll get a pretty well stuffed and fluffed insert. I wish these had a zipper so I can add stuffing if it gets flat over time. But overall, it's a great buy. I was finally able to get rid of the down feather pillow inserts that came with the throw pillows when I bought time. I was really over having random feathers around the house.
