bad fitment, don't buy

6 months after installing this part, my tailgate stopped working (the door is closed). As you can imagine, this creates a tricky situation as you have to disassemble the tailgate from INSIDE the car. After disassembly, the part fell into two parts (see photo). The two parts you see in the photo must be an assembly. This manufacturer joins them with the thinnest spot weld I've seen, which is clearly not up to par. This low quality leads to labor-intensive repairs. Save time and nerves and buy the best part
