The Astro 78825 hub bearing tool is really worth owning and using. A class 8 screw is fine, but Astro should use fine threads instead of the coarse threads they use. A fine thread will apply and hold more force when turning than a coarse thread. No big deal, the tool still works pretty damn well. Here's how I made it even better: 1. Apply a lubricant or anti-seize containing molybdenum disulfide to these coarse threads. This is a material that lubricates very well under extreme pressure and these threads will be under a lot of pressure. I use a product called Moly Plate and it works very well. I use it on both bolt and nut threads. It's a little dirty, so have rags handy.2. To further reduce rotational friction, place a thin needle bearing between two washers and use this assembly with the washers provided. I bought mine from McMaster Carr. The bearing was part #5909K35 and the washers (2) were part #5909K48. Soak it in 30W oil before use. This significantly reduces the force required to turn the bolt. A good tool just got better.
