Review on πŸ”§ Efficient and Suppressed: Genmitsu GS 775M 20000RPM Electrical Tool for Ultimate Precision by Jesse Diaz

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Use this motor for something special

I don't have the Genmitsu CNC machine these motors are for, although I'd love to have one! I am using this engine for another project. In total I bought 9 motors. One of them is in reserve. The remaining 8 will be built into a scale model of a radio controlled car that looks like the Bonneville Streamliners you'll see breaking land speed records in the Bonneville Salt Flats. However, this car is much smaller and radio controlled, about 5 feet long, but very similar to the cars it is modeled after, particularly the Challenger II driven by Danny Thompson. The engines I modified for this application but look like that on the outside Original. I tested each one before taking them apart and they work as advertised at just over 20,000 rpm with no load at 24 volts. I changed the brushes. I also rewound and leveled the rebar. I removed the plastic fan that is in the engine as the car will have a special engine cooling system. It should only run at full throttle for about 10 seconds. I now dare not spin 24 volt motors because they spin too fast. It is safe to only run them at full throttle/voltage under load to keep RPM at a safe level. While the vehicle is in motion, they're probably spinning at about 25,000 rpm at full speed. With no load, the motors rotate at a speed of 35,500 rpm when 10 volts are applied. That's why I don't dare apply 24 volts to them without a load. When powered by a car they will run on 24 volts and possibly 32 volts if needed. The current record for an RC car is 202 mph and was reset in 2014. I hope to break this record in summer 2021. - Maurice Randall.
