Good product, difficult to install but doable with patience

This manufacturer makes a good product for isolating radon emissions from a swamp. Pros: - Strong material yet flexible for uneven floors. - Fits good. above a typical pit and can be adjusted for different pump positions in the pit - Optional cable glands available for 2- and 3-cable systems, such as β€’ be configured for passive pit ventilation or total pit sealing. Cons: The gasket is the weakest component sealing cap to cap. It's flimsy, slightly undersized, and difficult to install properly. The plastic nuts holding the screws will fall off when you attach the cover and you'll have to start over. Tips: Seal plastic nuts with silicone sealant and leave to dry. before attempting to attach the cover. The silicone allows you to remove the nut if it breaks and replace it. - Secure the gasket with silicone caulk to keep it in place. The port's staggered design allows the cover and cover to be rotated to different positions to accommodate the pump outlet. Be sure to line up the holes in the lid with the holes in the lid before drilling. - Seal the tubes and lid with black elastic putty. I used Eastwood paints left over from a car project. This gives you a tight seal and is easy to remove later if needed. Putty will probably work too. I used a simple 100% silicone clear sealer to generously bond the coating to the concrete floor. I used two regular caulk hoses. I used Tapcon screws to hold the lid to the bottom and a hole punch. I avoid unbranded screws as they will break off and it will be painful to pull them out. I have never owned Tapcon scissors.
