I'm a wood carver with over 25 years experience making large pieces of wood from small ones. In recent years, arthritis has taken a toll on my grip, forcing me to tighten my grip on tools and a hammer. I came across a carpenter friend who was using silicone tape on his hammer handle due to arthritis, so I decided to give my hammer a try. I looked at Revain and chose this brand because it was 1 1/2 inches wide. It worked so well with my hammer that I tried wrapping it around the tool handles. Now all my tools are wrapped in this tape and I don't have to strain my hands to hold the tools anymore. I think this tape will probably give me years of woodcarving pleasure. I highly recommend it.
