I have replaced three of my most used faucets with these aerators: one for the kitchen sink and one for two bathrooms. Whether bathrooms need a 3 position switch is a very debatable question, but I like the extra option just in case I ever need a little extra push. Overall they were pretty easy to install if your faucets have standard threads. I ran into a problem in a bathroom because this aerator would not fit the male thread of my faucet due to the way the chrome part was placed. It was very close. I ended up ordering an ASIN Faucet Aerator Adapter Kit #B01D7PG4UO and used a #3 female to male adapter to install a 3-way aerator on this faucet. With all three present and no leaks, I am very happy with these aerators. 0.5 GPM (lowest setting) is perfect for hand washing, the primary use of all my faucets. As previously mentioned, I can confirm that the chrome portion of the selector switch can slide off, but unless you turn it, it won't pop out in normal use. I turned the dial with two wet fingers; It is easy to move and does not require much effort. Updated to include photos; You can see which sink has an adapter. The kitchen sink also doesn't have an adapter.
