Our 15 year old microwave recently decided we were no longer worthy of using button 3 and start rendering the microwave useless. After my wife bought a nearly same sized microwave that was only an inch or two lower, she decided it stuck out too much and wanted to move it across the kitchen. Unfortunately, the location she chose didn't have an exit close enough for the cable. I needed a 2 foot extension but figured a 3 foot extension would be easier to find. The new microwave is rated at 14.5 amps, so a 15 amp cord will do for me. I wanted a flat plug as it fits behind the fridge so this cable seemed like the right choice for me.
