Hi - I’m an acupuncturist who does cosmetic acupuncture and use a derma roller (the 1.5mm ones) as well. I use facial cupping and the roller once a week and I don’t have any wrinkles. It took me four months of once week sessions to improve my skin and now just continue to use both as a "maintenance”. My skin looks great. I’m 37.I wanted this pen to see if it makes my skin even nicer, and also wanted to try it on my stretch marks and surgery scar.Here’s my experience, I just got it yesterday, so will update this review in a couple days / weeks.I love the packaging.I love the price.I love the manual that comes with it. Please read it 2x carefully.Also please research carefully / ask you doctor what products you can use after so your skin won’t have a bad reaction. Yes that can also happen. This is not a toy.The needling experience: I cleaned my skin, then used the pen first on my stretch marks, then I did my scar and lastly my face.It is quite painful, the 1.5mm derma roller hurts too, but this is so much worse. I did not use numbing cream but I think I’ll buy one for future sessions.My legs were okay, abdominal scar was okay, face was very painful, but I did it. I guess it’s better if someone else does this for you, hard to inflict pain on yourself.The skin feels hot and "raw” and "open” after.I’m writing this the morning after, my skin doesn’t feel hot anymore, but still feels raw and open.I’ll update this review in a couple of weeks.I plan to continue using this pen and see if my skin improves and if it helps my stretch marks & scar.Enjoy - but be careful. This is not a toy. Read the manual, ask your doctor, do your research before.*update four days after: the skin is peeling, looks like I had a massive sunburn.
