Honestly, this thing works great. I used to have one of the suction cups and it never worked and finally broke after a year. I decided on a magnetic one after seeing how well my friends work. This thing works AMAZING for $10. It holds the Pixel 3 very well on a Subaru Outback driving rough roads and I've had no problems with things moving or loosening. I even put glue on a weird faux leather surface that literally nothing sticks to. I didn't even have to attach any metal to my case either. I just put it loosely between the case and the phone! Just follow the instructions and everything will be fine!
