Unfortunately this heating pad does not heat sufficiently. I expected a lot more from this device based on the reviews, but I think I'll have to choose another brand instead. My tank doesn't go above 80F which is way too cold. This was verified with my heat gun, with additional verification with my thermostat reading sensor (inserted 1 inch into the substrate) which noted the same lack of heat. I even left the heating pad on for over 24 hours and still no noticeable heat was properly delivered to the case. as I was really hoping this device would be perfect for my corn snake enclosure.
