Looking for an alternative circulation pump for my water heater (AO Smith) The pump is quiet and works well. I put a jumper on each branch of the hot water lines at the farthest faucet on each line. No dedicated return line, cold lead return line. A simple smart IP power plug to manage your schedule and turn your pump on and off. The only small drawback I found was the flow monitor switch, which could have been a little more sensitive. Turning the pump on each morning before you shower requires you to briefly open (literally turn on then off) one of the faucets to get the flow circulating. Sometimes the pump won't turn off when the bridge valves are close to 0 and when there is no flow the pump will heat up a bit. Simply turning the pump on and off, or similarly turning any faucet on and off, seems to turn the pump off. All in all a very good pump for the money.
