bought this to add headlights to the quad length banner (mounting area) and the product description says to add a piece eg. B. a strap between the clips to add headlights, tools, etc. I used them and drilled and slotted a clip to put the marker lights on individually. The mounting flange turnbuckle is torqued to 43 lb-in and is very strong. This with a rubber washer installed to give a size of 3/4"-19mm. I drilled a #29 gauge wire and screwed in 8-32 and attached the lanterns. The clamps appear to have stainless steel screws with lock washers. This is the product I will buy again.The top screw of the lantern I drilled on the edge of the clamp screw without a full hole, the drill bit came out of the contact surface of the cap to the body and I unscrewed all the way from the outside of the clamp to the inside diameter and only have about 1/8 inch threads and I was able to tighten the screws enough that I didn't have to worry about dimming the lights, there's a lot of meat in there.
