We have had a hand shower in the past and liked it. But it cracked, so we replaced it with a solid head, which was very good, but to be honest it didn't clean some hard-to-reach areas of the body. a soap rack hanging from a shower pipe coming out of the wall and all the hand holders had hoses going straight back into the soap rack. A right angle adjustable knee built into the side of this derailleur solves this problem. It straightens the hose at any angle (straight down is fine for me). The knee is free to rotate, so if you need it stiff, look elsewhere. This diverter appears to be of exceptional quality. Solid metal and excellent workmanship. In addition, the lever valve works very smoothly, not tightly or jerkily. However, the valve cannot be locked, which would be nice. Instead, water is channeled from both ends with threads. So I won't be using this lever at all as I want the water to just come out of the knee and not into the line. Including two washers. I couldn't use the one that screws the hex nut onto the end of the shower pipe as there wasn't enough thread to tighten it securely. So I want the hex nut to be extended by about 1/4 inch. Teflon tape is also included.
