I captured the New Year's tree on film; the sky was overcast at midday; and everything appeared as it did in real life. In the sunlight, I believe its true colors will emerge.

Pros

Compact, high-quality, and lightweight lens. Mechanism for control that is both silent and, more crucially, quick. It has a tiny and interesting hood.

Cons

The lens cap is plastic and cannot be mounted to the lens without first removing the lens hood. This means that you will need to take better care of the lens more frequently if you do so immediately. For your M49 lens, you'll need to order a different lens cap. Since the lens and lens hood are styled to appear as a single item, this disadvantage is understandable.
