Cable socket versus plug and ground for each lamp made installation difficult

The lamp cable plug has a socket that appears to be the opposite of the rest of the industry. Cannot be connected to existing standard connections of conventional vehicles. I probably should have sent it back when I opened the package and found this. I've been looking for some sort of "mother-man" adapter but it doesn't seem to exist. I ended up buying the standard wiring from Walmart, which probably wasn't that good. Also, I didn't realize that each lamp has its own ground wire that needs to be attached to the frame. The old lighting only had two wires to each tail light and one to each side marker light. They have three taillights and two side marker lights. I had to drill holes in the trailer frame for each floor. The tail light wires run from the center not the bottom of the light so I had to drill a hole between the tail light bolts on the trailer to allow the wires to pass through and sit straight. The instructions are terrible for a beginner. A sheet is 3 x 4 inches. Microscopic writing. Neither the diagram nor the instructions mention the installation of side marker lamps. (For position lights, the red wire goes to the brown wire and the black wire goes to the ground screw.) After I finally got everything installed, the lights seem very bright. I haven't wet them yet, so hopefully that won't cause any further regrets.
