KEEN's Water Sandals are far more substantial than a typical water shoe. These are regular sneakers for all intents and purposes. They are nicely made with a thick rubber sole that covers the toes, a robust fabric upper, and a strong velcro strap.The sneakers fit my 4-year-old son nicely in a size 11. They move well and give him great grip. He has no trouble putting them on and taking them off.I washed them in my front load washer on the gentle cycle and air dried them. They came out perfectly.All in all. terrific sneakers.
