Review on πŸ” Enhanced Search-Optimized Buyers Products CC600 Conduit Carrier by Bart Elbrink

Revainrating 4 out of 5

The best on the market (IMHO) but still with some downsides

I was looking for the best conduit carrier available and thought this was the best option. These are the only ones I've found with a real "saddle" for the pipeline. Much stronger and less likely to crush PVC pipes. I interacted with the customer service department to get some additional details and they were quick and efficient. Recent castings seem pretty good. None of them have any cracks or defects. I really wanted to give 5 stars but there are two downsides that have held me back. First, and this is small, the end shells are shipped face to face (aluminum to aluminum) and usually arrive a bit scratched. It's ok as these are build class items and beauty isn't critical so this is a minor issue. A more troubling issue is the way the hinges and latches are constructed, the lids snap on fairly loosely and aren't even remotely watertight. There is a nice rubber pad on the inside of the opening lid, but due to the design it never touches the contact surface. The larger the PVC size, the larger the gap. You can see it in my photos. (I bought one of each size - 4", 6" and 8"). I solved the problem by adding some spring latches that keep the doors tightly closed so they are now watertight. With this one Modification they are the best (IMHO).
