As everyone else says: U-bolt makes no sense, it's not even close to enough to connect anything. . The caps don't fit the 4" (inner) pipe. But I like the look. So keep it up - use Marine Sealant 5200 to set and build up the PVC. Castings are impressive. I don't know of any other kit that has such a great, real "saddle" for the bottom of the pipe. The lid and door end are well formed and match schedule 40 PVC well.
