This blanket is just the softness I wanted. My son had another blanket from the same company and I refused to return it until I bought mine. He had a beautiful wolf print. I chose the horses on the beach. I like it but my daughter thinks the beach is too orange. Since I bought it because of how it feels on the skin, the orange tinge didn't bother me. However, if you like darker colors for your quilts, you can choose a different image. This is a lightweight blanket. I'm 1.60 m tall, so the duvet fits me just right. If you are taller, you may need a larger size. I highly recommend this duvet for its softness. It's warm for cold summer nights but you'll need an extra blanket when it gets colder. That's the one I would keep next to me. From my experience with my son's duvet, I know that it washes well.
