Exactly what I expected apart from the workmanship

I had several tools with no clamps. I think some of them are probably out in the pasture somewhere and some of them didn't come along. I don't use clip-ons very often, but if you need a clip-on on stairs or anywhere else, you need a clip-on. In all functional aspects this is exactly what I wanted and needed. One thing I noticed and find interesting is that even with compact batteries that are wider than regular batteries, the battery will erase the clip. That's a nice detail. I installed it on a compact cordless impact wrench and since the clip protrudes beyond the tool that the battery is attached to, there was immediate concern that it might not be compatible with those batteries. Luckily some designer had to worry, otherwise it was a stroke of luck. A very small detail that didn't look like the tools I bought with the clamps was the finish. The finish looks cheaper, less polished or shiny. I don't know what the difference is, but it wasn't the same as the OEM clips that were installed when I took them out of the box. I feel silly even noticing something that will be in the sawdust, grease and whatnot, but I've noticed, so I'm mentioning it. While I found that it doesn't bother me because I'm really not the type of guy who cares about the looks of tools, when they were next to each other it was noticeable. If you're the kind of person who will make a difference, just give it a try. As you can see, no star was deducted for this, but maybe someone is interested.
