Review on 🐎 Enhance Horsepower with K&N Cold Air Intake Kit: Perfect Fit for 2006-2009 FORD (Fusion) 69-3514TTK by Charles Galan

I wanted a little more low end pickup but didn't want a harsher exhaust note so I went with the intake. when idling you can hear it sucking air under the hood. When you sit on it, the car shifts smoother in all gears and throttle response is much better. I don't have to step on it as often as I used to and it pulls slight hills. As a bonus, the sound is amazing at higher rpm and you can hear a whistling noise coming from the supercharged air (over 3500), but while driving it sounds normal. It took me 80 minutes to install. IMPORTANT: This is not specified in the instructions, but at the stage where you need to remove the bottom half of the stock airbox, there are 2 tubes (one is attached to the airbox and the other that draws in fresh air from the inner wing. The other goes straight down from that pipe into the big plastic box.) Just plug the hole for that extra pipe. It is not used and is a resonance box that provides intake noiselessness. It fits perfectly under the hood and everything is exactly as shown in the photos. I'm more than happy with it and it's worth the $242 I paid for it here plus free shipping. The best upgrade for any 4 cylinder engine. I will buy oil in the future when I need to clean the filter as well as the backup filter.
