Acrylic paint set in large tubes. The test tubes consist of a Mylar bag with a screw cap. Each tube is marked with a color name and code number and a color swatch to indicate shade. Colors are non-toxic. They were made in China. I find these colors great for learning. Large tubes mean they are unlikely to run out when painting. The paint is smooth and dries quickly. At first I had a little trouble controlling the flow of paint from the tubes as the shape is different than the plastic tubes. But once I got the hang of it, they worked fine. Depending on the desired effect, you can use the paint directly from the tube or mix it with water. The color selection includes all the important colors from titanium white to burnt umber and ultramarine. Overall, this is a great paint set for a beginner, student, or prolific artist.
