Hex screws bad idea, but LOVE this handrail!
Agree with other negative comments about the hex screws. Otherwise, I love this handrail. It replaces a wood one that started splintering & splitting after 3 or 4 yrs of Texas outdoor weathering. I got the antique brass finish which looks great, & it didn't have any scratches that other reviewers complained about. I needed 2 but bought only one in case I wouldn't like it. I immediately ordered a 2nd handrail for the other side of the staircase. I'm very pleased with this product!
