We use this cord as the main power cord wherever we plug in an RV. We leave the factory plug in the camper and use it to make the electrical compartment easier to keep clean as we can wipe it off the outside and roll it away from the camper and then plug it into the compartment. We had to use the old one we had a couple of times when our campsite had pedestal issues so instead of moving the rig they let us connect to the next site as it wasn't rented out for the rest of our stay . Unfortunately our old cable got lost in the workshop so we replaced it with this one.
