Review on Viatti Strada Asimmetrico V-130 205/55 R16 91V summer by Wiktor Janusz ᠌

The quality is fine, it's fine to use.

I'm going to write something weird. It's not rubber. Is it plastic, polyurethane, or something from this series. Have you felt plastic wheels on cheap baby strollers? Here it is, very similar. I chose cheap tires, because. going to sell the car at the end of the summer. And here the price is 4 thousand for 215/55/17 and free installation. Of course, doubts crept in when, when buying, the installer let me feel it and, for comparison, normal tires, so that I could feel the difference between rubber and plastic, but the toad took its toll. The first time I even liked it, because. I traveled around Hong Kong from home to work, without acceleration and sudden braking. Yes, hard, uncomfortable, but tolerable, suspension smoothes. The most interesting thing began when I had to go to Hong Kong. At first I freaked out from the noise at 120-160 km / h. But I think it’s okay, it doesn’t affect security, for its price it’s excusable. But braking on hot pavement is another story. It pancake slides like buttered, and it doesn’t matter at what speed to slow down, even from 30 km / h it brakes in front of a sudden pedestrian, it immediately goes into the skid and the abs cracks. Unforgettable sensations, for 15 years of experience I have never seen such a thing. In defense of Viatti, I can say that it is durable, it passed through all the Hong Kong pits without breakdowns and hernias. In summary, I will say this. Rubber for a taxi, around the city at low speeds is quite for itself. But not more. Do not drive on the highway and be careful in the heat! Good luck to all! P. S. Before that, I traveled a lot, including 2022 rubber from other manufacturers, so I have something to compare with.

Pros
  • Strong enough sidewall, low price.
Cons
  • Very noisy, VERY early breaks into the skid, especially in the heat.
