I finally got this monitor set up and connected to my new Macbook Air. Of course, the two small screws holding the monitor to the base were missing, and there were no sizing details. Of course there are threads on the monitor that I didn't want to carry to the hardware store, so I guessed. Got it right the first time so for $0.50 I was back in business. I really wanted it to mirror the Macbook screen. The guide to setting up the monitor screen was very confusing, but I played around until I found the mirror button. I have not figured out the functions of the power button. Eventually the monitor went into analog mode and I couldn't figure out how to get it back into mirror mode. I eventually resorted to unplugging and plugging the power cord back in, which worked. I still don't know how to turn off the monitor completely. When you turn off your Macbook, it appears to go into sleep mode with a flashing blue light. This product could really use better instructions.
