This isn't the quality tool you're looking for.

The vertical caliper is bent. The thumbscrews for the ruler broke off the first time I tried to hand-tighten them. The holes moved 1/16 inch each time due to sliding deflection. Buy a better tool, don't ruin the closet door because your tools are cheap.
