Assembly can be a problem

Assembly was a problem. One of the screws on the back of the chair was almost tight when trying to screw it in with the Allen key provided. If I didn't have my own ratcheting hex wrench I wouldn't use it without this torque. Even a bit of work is attempted with each bolt to minimize misaligned bushings that allow for smooth bolt entry. However, I had to use a ratchet on that last hole. Also, the base shaft just slides into the wheelbase and that's it, no lockup so it wiggles a bit but not seriously unless I'm just trying to wiggle it, it just dangles in this socket. In addition, it is comfortable, and the armrests are adjustable inward, outward, front-back, and angled left-right, up-down. depending on the activity, i have good armrest or elbow room, depending on what i want. Not sure if it was worth the price but at this point most of these chairs seem pretty much the same and I went with what seemed the most versatile for my needs. Imagine me lying in this particular chair, although it will and seems to be quite stable in this position, having your legs dangling at such a fully reclined angle is just weird. I would say look for cheaper models that have the same features. It's a good chair, but for what I paid the pros don't seem to outweigh the cons, the biggest of which is the construction issue (which may have been accidental) and the wobbling of the base, which is inevitable without some sort Stabilization. Element for its connection to the wheel base, except shaft A, in hole B so that it does not get blocked. (and no, I didn't have spare screws or bolts for it).

Pros
  • GOLS certification
Cons
  • Some small things
