Of course everything is plastic but that's what you get if you don't want to spend more. I had to replace the defective one in my industrial house. Of course, since they're all plastic, you can't just replace the stem in better style faucets. It was easy to install. I removed all of these strips from the walls for plastering and painting but left the paneling on the back walls of both tubs for easy access. Removing that panel and removing the old faucet probably took longer than installing the faucet. I used masking tape and just glued the pieces together. Of course, when I installed it, I removed the old silicone gasket and glued the new gasket to the back of this faucet. That works fine. I also have to say that the price was lower than anywhere else online.
