Review on πŸ”Œ WAGO 773 168 Conductor Wall Nuts – Efficient Electrical Connection Solution by William Dean

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Doesn't hold as tight as a nut

Wires don't hold as well as a nut. I had to put 4 12ga wires plus a pigtail in a back box. The wires don't bend easily and the force required to position them in exactly the right place pulls them out of the wago. To disconnect the cables, grab the Wago, take it out of the box and twist it back and forth. The shutdown takes about a second. The old fashioned irreverent wire nut has superior grip and durability (when tightened with pliers until the wires start to twist) and is smaller than Wago. Hence the three stars. This makes sense where there is a lot of space in the socket and cables can be laid in layers.

Pros
  • Nice thing
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something
