Review on Wireless 433MHz RF Module Receiver With 4 Channel Output – QIACHIP RX480E (20 Pcs) by Matt Abba

I recently reviewed this item - gave it 4 stars - - that review has not yet been posted.I am a reducing the stars to two. The transmitter DRAINS a 12V, A23 battery in no time - tried two different batteries. The batteries overheated, and the transmitter became quite warm to the touch. Now using a single 18650 at 3.7 volts. I measured the current draw at 55 Ma - did not measure it with the A23 battery - probably a lot higherThe transmitter still works OK, transmits across the room, but is still running warm to the touch.I wonder how long the transmitter will continue to work at this excessive current draw - thinking of returning it
