Review on 🚀 Blazer International C6424: Top-rated Submersible Trailer Light Kit for Enhanced Safety by Jeff Jemison

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Better than regular bulbs

Lights are easy to install and look great. I bought these to replace a kit on a small trailer that had cracks and an electrical failure. This trailer sees a lot of mud and dirt roads. For the wire connector, I had to cut the sheathing around the pins to fit my truck's connector. They look sharp and I expect them to hold up well. It's amazing what a new set of lights can do to an old trailer. It took me about an hour and a half to remove and install my old lighting kit which involved drilling new mounting holes. The wire nuts provided will generally work better than butt joints with the specified wire size. I installed them at the very back of a 4x8 truck/motorcycle trailer with a 5ft drawbar and had 4ft of wire left over to cut the back of the wiring harness. These lights have holes in the bottom of the hull, so they must be turned off before diving onto the boat ramp. For the price of the whole set I am very satisfied.

Pros
  • Requires #194 and #1157 bulbs to replace
Cons
  • Hard to tell
