Good value in the External Accessories section

Assembly and installation is very simple and straightforward. I didn't like that the license plate bracket was plastic and felt cheap, but I only bought it for the lighting, so it's not a problem for me. I used them on a boat trailer for a 15ft boat and had about 1ft of extra wire. I don't like wire nuts or splice connectors and soldered all the connections. After soldering, I placed wire nuts on the joint and sealed them with electrical tape. I don't like it when my headlights don't work. The…

Better than regular bulbs

Lights are easy to install and look great. I bought these to replace a kit on a small trailer that had cracks and an electrical failure. This trailer sees a lot of mud and dirt roads. For the wire connector, I had to cut the sheathing around the pins to fit my truck's connector. They look sharp and I expect them to hold up well. It's amazing what a new set of lights can do to an old trailer. It took me about an hour and a half to remove and install my old lighting kit which involved drilling…

Pros
  • Requires #194 and #1157 bulbs to replace
Cons
  • Hard to tell

Do not buy! I've had them in my caravan for less than a month and couldn't be more disappointed. First, they are not waterproof, meaning they cannot be submerged in water. Look at the photo of the product where the wires come out from below. You can see that there is nothing to prevent water from entering the 1/2" x 1/8" hole that the wires pass through. Second, they only attach to the studs attached to the trailer. There is nothing that keeps the light itself locked. I suspect they expect the…

Pros
  • Universal rear or side mount
Cons
  • Almost everything is fine

Salt water almost washed my boat off the trailer during Irma. Found my new LED trailer lights to be seared in salt water and wiring corroded so went with the Blazers which were well recommended to me. But after working for hours in the heat installing new lights and trailer wiring, I'm not happy with the RV. First, the wiring is too short, and I only have one trailer for a 17.5ft boat! I had to splice wires for extra length both at the back and at the plug because the ground wire doesn't even…
