Stable, but the spikes on one of the brackets were welded at an angle.
I have used brackets to hold 6 tennis racquets at a time and the brackets support the weight with no problem. From an aesthetic point of view, I am concerned that the spikes move a few degrees to the left when installed, this is enough to notice.
