Review on Mann Fishing Magnet by Michael Hudson

Bought for a 9 year old and 350lbs is a little more than he can lift but in most cases he can get it off the item with a little help if needed so he doesn't the magnet loses. It was great to have a threadlock, we used our own but I would recommend adding a little guidance on application and drying time. Finally, included line #1 claims strength but does not indicate fracture toughness. I think that line breaks at 150 pounds plus or minus 10%. The second issue with the cord is the diameter, without measuring I'd say it's 1/8"-3/16" thick / 3-4mm thick. This makes the tug something like a tug-of-war played with a piece of dental floss. It hits my hands pretty hard. I would recommend matching the breaking strength of the rope with twice the weight of the magnet and a cord that is at least 8-10mm in diameter.
