I have purchased other Ninja food prep items and have found them to be of good quality.This nice set with block and sharpener are no exception. I’ve had a lifelong career in commercial food service and I really need and appreciate good, quality tools. In my opinion, this set is superior.To start with, this is a beautiful set. All the knives are full tang and well weighted and fit my hand well.The blades are sharp and I love that the sharpener is attached to the block. There is an instruction booklet that details how to properly use the sharpener, as well as the cleaning and maintenance of the sharpening wheel.Two small things that I like about the set are: the shears come apart for cleaning; and the steak knives have a smooth blade, not serrated. I dislike having a steak knife that I can’t sharpen and I always worry that there’s still bacteria in the hinge of the kitchen shears that can’t be sterilized.They have a 10 year NeverDull guarantee. I think if you follow the cleaning and maintenance instructions, these knives will last that long and maybe longer. The manufacturer says to hand wash the knives and, in my experience, it’s the best thing to have the knives for a long time in perfect condition. I am very pleased with this set.
