Medium aggressiveness, cool grip.
The heavy brass handle alone is worth something. The head, although made of zamak, is beautifully finished. This is not a soft razor. If you want soft, use the old Gillette technique or the modern van Der Hagen/Weishi. But it's also not a tremendously aggressive head. It's stuck in the middle. You will feel the blade and you have to be careful. But he didn't tear me to pieces like Merkur Slant did. Overall this is a good razor for the money. Just take your time and use a good lube and gentle lather.
